Sermons of The Month In Memory of Bro. Fred Shepherd

14 Aug
Bro. Fred Shepherd

Elder Fred Shepherd

Sermons of the month by Bro. Fred Shepherd

Our sermons focus this month will be messages by Bro. Fred Shepherd in memory of this great preacher.    Bro. James Groce writes of Bro. Shepherd “There are some events of life that are unforgettable but, like Halley’s Comet, are extremely rare. There are just a few mountain peaks that captivate the eye because they tower over their surrounding snow capped brothers and there are those lights that burn a bit brighter amid the gleaming torches of the throng. Only occasionally does life permit us to share that rare breed of a man that who, though of short duration, makes such an everlasting impact among so many. There have been the Robert E. Lees and the FDRs and the Abraham Lincolns of history that generations recall their names because of the deeds and words they added, not only to their own times but for time immemorial. Elder Fred Shephard was that comet, that high peak, that brighter light and that figure of history that God in His sweet grace allowed us to share.”

We have two messages on Apostolic Classics by Bro. Shepherd.  ”Battle Weary Preachers and Worn Out Saints” from 2004 and “Protecting Your Head” from 2005. Listen to these and others on www.apostolicclassics.com
